Back in February when we learned that our baby Emma had Trisomy 18, we were devastated. We learned more about all of the specifics of the significant life threatening problems she had, and heard doctor after doctor not give her much of a chance to even make it past 30 weeks.
Here we are today, approximately one month away from full term and she's still alive and kicking and punching inside Momma. When we have our ultrasounds it's almost like we are communicating with each other - she even gave me a thumbs up last time. She's a fighter and she'll always be daddy's little girl.
